Who is this coaching for:
The person who is ready for change MORE than they want to stay the same. If you’re starting to feel uncomfortable with not taking action with your health and fitness, you’re in the right place.
If you’re proud of where you’re at, and are ready to dive deeper into your body’s potential, I’m ready to guide you as well.
I’m looking or clients who are committed to training at least 2x/week, maintain clear and honest communication with me, commit to getting the rest needed to recover and the ability to invest in protein rich foods that nourish the body.
I specialize in weight loss, toning, building lean muscle and strength, energy improvement and longevity.
What accountability do you provide?
Tons. We communicate via text throughout each week with the option of weekly-monthly check in calls. I blend accountability with empathy and understanding of your unique situation, personality and schedule.
I travel a lot and work crazy hours, is this good for me?
Yes. Fitness is for everyone. Being busy makes finding the time and energy a bit more challenging, which is why its a good idea to have a coach who can make you the right program for your lifestyle. Proper exercise will fuel you and provide you with more energy in the future so you can better deal with life’s stress.
Are you international?
100%. As long as you have a phone with an internet connection, we can work together.
Can you help me with injuries?
Yes. I’m not a doctor or physio but, within my scope, I can help you work around injuries, prevent them and deal with them by stretching or strengthening an affected area
How quickly can I see results?
That depends on many factors. Clients usually notice a more positive attitude and increased energy within the first weeks of coaching. Weight loss typically occurs within the first month, and it is entirely possible to notice a change in your physique after 1-2 months. Some clients can accomplish much more if they can allocate more time to exercise and proper nutrition. The goal is to get your fitness and nutrition program right for you based on your priorities and what life is currently like.
I have dietary restrictions, can you work with me?
Absolutely. I encourage a flexible diet that allows for enjoyment whilst achieving your goals. I teach the nuts and bolts of nutrition and how to make it work for you based on what you can and cant eat and what you enjoy. Lactose/gluten intolerant or plant based is no problem.
How often do we communicate?
I’m available to answer questions and support you Monday to Friday during business hours via text. We have coaching video/audio calls up to weekly depending on preference.
Do you provide meal plans?
Better than that, I teach you how to make your own. Most clients who thin they want a meal plan realize quickly that it isn’t the answer. A meal plan is very rigid. I teach nutritional flexibility. A meal plan wont work when your friend invites you out for dinner. A meal plan wont work when you forget to make and pack your lunch and need to grab something from a food court. With that said, I can still provide you with a meal plan. Im here to support you, not discourage you.
Cost?
Online coaching is a fraction of the cost of in person training. You get tailored support and everything you need from a coach to be successful. You can expect to investment to be $200-$350/month depending on what you may need. In person training ranges from $60-$100 /hour depending on location and commitment length.
How hard will these changes be?
They’re never easy, but they’re worth it – and, I make it as easy as it can be. Clients usually start falling in love with process once they start seeing results.
Will I get sore exercising?
It’s possible, but not the goal. Certain types of training can make you more sore than others, however, this usually happens at the beginning and tapers off as your body gets more accustomed to the exercises. Sometimes clients get excited when they’re sore the next day because it signifies that we worked the intended muscles quite intensely.
How often do I need to workout?
A minimum of twice a week. Daily workouts can work well for certain personalities, but most people have a sweet spot of 3x/week. We’ll find the perfect plan for your needs and available time.
How long do I need to workout?
As little as 20 minutes. Most clients prefer programs that are 60 minutes long, but I have busy clients who can only spare 20-30 mniutes/day and we make it work!!
What type of equipment do I need access to?
Nothing. We can get you seeing success with just bodyweight. That said, some small equipment investments can go a long way if you prefer to train from the comfort of your home. If you decide to get a gym membership, that will of course open up all the possibilities of exercise selection for your program. I’ve had clients that have gotten better results at home then at the gym. Its about your consistency and execution more than anything else.
How long are in person sessions?
60 minutes. A proper warmup, execution of a variety of exercises, education and cool down will take up the hour!
Will you train me in my house?
I’m open to discussing house calls. Get in touch so we can discuss.
Do you offer 60 minutes virtual training sessions?
I’m open to seeing if virtual training sessions will work for you.. Get in touch so we can discuss.
Do you have a training facility?
Yes! Owned and operated by me in the Wasaga Beach/ Collingwood area.
What if I have a crazy schedule or need time off for travel?
Sometimes I have a crazy schedule and travel too. I get it. We’ll make sure the plan is always tailored to you. We keep in constant communication so I always know what you have coming up that might require us to make a modification or pause to any plan we make together!
What are your credentials?
A kinesiology degree, over 10 years of professional in-person training experience training clientele at Goodlife Fitness and running my own business since 2018. Upon the beginning of the pandemic, I became online and nutrition certified to serve my clients more fully in an online format.
Do I need to meal prep?
Nope! If its not sustainable, I don’t need you to do it. Meal prep can be helpful to stay organized and give you the best chance at accessing good meals, but, taking leftovers instead, grabbing a healthy option at the food court or grocery store hot table or optimizing your restaurant menu order are all things I’ll make sure you feel confident in doing.
